3.Lost Coast Brewery's brewpub in Eureka, California. Overall - Interesting gimmick and somewhat enjoyable but wouldn't buy again. Begins light to medium bodied with a bit of effervescence but very suddenly turns into a surprisingly clean watery bitterness over the course of just a few seconds. Mouthfeel - Very dynamic, evolving quite noticeably on the palate. Aftertaste is a bit thin and cardboard by generally clean. Taste - Fruity sweetness up front on top of a body of grain.
Exactly what I expected it to smell like. Smell - Smells exactly of tangerine with faint musky grain undertones. Hazy medium gold body with a slight orange tinge. Collapses in on itself and leaves a thin, irregular, loose lacing with low-decent stick. Got it at the grocery store as part of a $10 six pack mixer.Īppearance - Pours large white sudsy head with decent retention. So this is about 2.5 months old which isn't too bad.
